eBay - How it works
When selling on eBay, please note the following:
- Create your listings directly on the eBay Sales market as per the "eBay - How to create a listing" article.
Sitnsell will manage inventory, pricing, order processing, fulfillment, tracking numbers, and cancellations in coordination with the eBay Seller's Markets.
DO NOT UPDATE PRICING AND INVENTORY THROUGH THE EDIT FUNCTION ON EBAY
- Adjust pricing through Sitnsell's listings.
How to Check Your Selling Limit on eBay
- Navigate to the Overview tab of Seller Hub.
- Scroll down to find the Monthly Limits section and view your current limit.
eBay variations and listing limits
- One variation listing counts as 1 listing against your 250 free insertions on eBay.
- eBay includes variations without inventory counts in the 250 limit.
- To avoid exceeding your free listing limit on eBay, limit your uploaded inventory in Sitnsell to one item.
You can revise your variations listing by:
In the listing, click on revise listing at the top of the listing.
Where it shows the variations, click edit
Bring up another page, and click edit again.
That should bring up your variations.
On the right side of the page, click the X by the variation you want to remove.
If you encounter the message "Since you've sold at least one variation, attributes and options can no longer be removed" on eBay and need to remove a variation, you may need to revise the listing. You can follow these steps:
- Go to your eBay Seller Hub.
- Navigate to your active listings.
- Find the listing with the variation you want to remove.
- Click on the listing and end the listing.
- Go to the Ended listings
- Relist
- Locate the variation section.
- Click on the X of the sizes with zero inventory removing the variation you no longer want..
- Save your changes and update the listing.
Keep in mind that once a variation has been sold, eBay restricts the ability to remove attributes and options, so you may need to revise the listing as a whole. If you encounter any difficulties, eBay's customer support can provide further assistance.
