eBay: How to create a listing

📦 Selling on eBay with Sitnsell: Listing Procedure

To sell on eBay using Sitnsell, you must create listings directly in the eBay Sales Market. Sitnsell syncs your inventory, pricing, orders, fulfillment, and cancellations.

⚠️ Important Notes

  • eBay Custom Label (SKU) listing must match the Sitnsell SKU listing.
  • eBay Barcode (UPC) listing must match the Sitnsell Barcode UPC listing.

✅ Before You List

📝 How to Create a Listing

  • Tap “Sell” or the “+” icon in the app’s bottom center.

  • Choose “Create Listing”:
    • Single Listing – one size per SKU
    • Multiple Listings – multiple sizes under one SKU

  • Search for similar items on eBay to improve results.

  • Choose the matching item in Sitnsell and confirm the details.

🖼 Add Listing Details

  • Photos/Videos: Use high-quality images from multiple angles

    👉 Adding photos to listings

  • Title: Write clear titles with keywords
    • A good eBay listing title should be clear, descriptive, and packed with relevant keywords buyers would search for. Here's a basic formula:

[Brand] [Item Name] [Model/Style] [Key Features] [Size/Color] [Condition]

      ✅ Example Titles:

    • Nike Air Max 270 Men's Running Shoes Black/White Size 10 New
    • Apple iPhone 13 Pro Max 256GB Sierra Blue Unlocked Excellent Condition
    • LEGO Star Wars AT-AT 75288 Building Set – New Sealed
    • Dell XPS 13 Laptop i7 16GB RAM 512GB SSD Windows 11 – Great Condition

      🔍 Tips:

    • Maximize the 80-character limit.
    • Avoid special characters unless necessary.
    • Use common abbreviations buyers recognize (e.g., "NWT" for "New With Tags").
    • Don’t include words like “wow” or “look” — focus on keywords.
  • Item Specifics: Auto-filled from title—double-check accuracy
  • Custom Label (SKU):
    • Must match Sitnsell SKU (e.g., 3236-ESP-8 )

If hidden, enable through “See Title Options.”

Must use the Advanced listing form

To access eBay's Advanced Listing Form, which offers comprehensive options for creating detailed listings, follow these steps:

      1. Sign In: Log into your eBay seller account.
      2. Navigate to Selling: Click on “Sell” at the top of the eBay homepage.

      4. Switch to Advanced Form: On the listing page, look for the option to switch to the Advanced Listing Form. This is typically found at the top or bottom of the page, labeled as “Switch to classic view” or “Advanced listing form.”
    • The Advanced Listing Form provides additional fields and options, such as:
      • Custom Labels (SKU): Assign internal identifiers to track inventory.
      • Variations: List multiple variations (e.g., sizes, colors) under a single listing. Barcode (UPC): Must match Sitnsell UPC
