🖨️ Procedure: Installing Zebra ZP 500 (EPL) Printer Drivers on Windows

📥 Step 1: Download the Driver

• Visit: https://www.fedex.zebra.com/drivers.asp

  If you see a "Your connection is not private" warning:

  • Click Advanced

  • Select Proceed to www.fedex.zebra.com (unsafe)

    Click on the driver link:

  • Zebra Designer Windows Drivers for FedEx printers (ZP 500, ZP 505, ZP 506, etc.)
• Download and save the file: FedEx_4_7_0_0_certified_w10 to your local folder

🛠 Step 2: Install the Driver

• Open the FedEx_4_7_0_0_certified_w10 folder

• Double-click on the Setup application file

  When prompted, choose:

  • Zebra Technologies\Zebra ZP 500 (EPL)
• Click Next
• Select the first USB port (e.g., Win 11 PCR_4_Port1) if connected via USB
• Click Finish

✅ Step 3: Test the Printer Connection

• Click Print test page

  If the test page fails:

  • Go to Printer Properties > Ports
  • Uncheck the current USB port
  • Check the next available USB port
  • Click Apply
  • Retry Print test page
  • Repeat the process until successful connection is established

⚙️ Step 4: Configure Printer Preferences (Windows 11)

• Go to Settings > Printers and Scanners
• Click on Zebra ZP 500 (EPL)

• Select Printing Preferences > Options

  Set the following:

  • Number of Copies: 1

  • Layout: Portrait

    Paper Size:

    • Width: 4.00"
    • Height: 6.00"
• Click Apply

📌 Note: If labels are printing outside the designated area, adjust the scale setting under “Custom” until the label fits properly.
