Procedure: Installing TSP800 Printer Drivers

To install the TSP800 printer drivers on a Windows system, follow the steps below:

🔽 Download the Driver

• Go to the official support page:

  http://www.starmicronics.com/support/default.aspx?printercode=tsp800ii

  Select the following options:

  • Thermal
  • TSP800 (Do NOT select TSP800II)
  • USB
  • Your Operating System
• Download the Recommended File
• Unzip the file to a local folder on your computer

⚙️ Install the Driver via Printer Settings (Windows 10)

1. Go to Settings > Devices > Printers & Scanners
2. Click Add a printer or scanner
3. If your printer does not appear, click “The printer that I want isn’t listed”
4. Select “Add a local printer or network printer with manual settings” and click Next
5. Choose “Use an existing port”, then select a USB (Virtual) port from the dropdown
6. Click Next

📂 Install from Disk

1. Click “Have Disk”

2. Browse to the folder where you unzipped the downloaded driver files

   Navigate to the folder corresponding to your system:

   • 32-bit or 64-bit (based on your OS version)
3. Select the file named “prnst001”
4. Click Open, then OK
5. Scroll down and select “TSP800 (TSP847)”
6. Click Next, then Finish to complete the installation
