UPC is not in Sitnsell after a bulk upload

  1. Go to bulk upload file, download the file and check if the UPC is in the file.
  2. Verify the error file received when the file was uploaded if the Error count is not 0
  3. Copy and enter the SKU on the Products page
  4. Check if the size has already an entered into UPC
  5. compare with the UPC received:

OPTION 1: The product has a different UPC, determine which one is the correct one:

  1. Usually the first 6 to 8 digits are similar in an SKU
  2. Search the https://www.upcitemdb.com/
  3. Ask the warehouse to provide the SKU/UPC/size
STEP 1: If Sitnsell has the correct UPC no further action is required. The item will show up as not available in the next scanning and it will be added to a new list.
STEP 2: If Sitnsell has the incorrect UPC, the following steps are required:
  1. Copy the actual UPC from the product in Sitnsell.
  2. Look if there is inventory.
  3. Write down the shelves.
  4. Delete the UPC.
  5. Notify the warehouse to rescan these shelves.
  6. Enter the new UPC.
  7. Notify the warehouse to scan the new UPC to the shelf

OPTION 2: The product has a different SKU or Color, determine which one is the correct one:

  1. Search the https://www.upcitemdb.com/
  2. Ask the warehouse to provide the SKU/UPC/size

If Sitnsell has the incorrect UPC, the following steps are required:
  1. Copy the actual UPC from the product in Sitnsell.
  2. Look if there is inventory for the UPC
  3. .
  4. Write down the shelves.
  5. Delete the UPC.
  6. Confirm
  7. Add the new UPC to the SKU
  8. Add UPC, size and color
  9. Click Create Product
  10. Notify the warehouse:
    • to rescan these shelves where the product(s) were deleted,
    • verify if the new UPC was scanned to the shelf during the shelf rescan 
    • if it was not scanned, look for the SKU/Brand and add the product UPC to the shelf.
