When and Why to Park a Listing

Introduction

Keep information accurate and trustworthy between Sitnsell and the Seller’s Marketplace by ensuring each listing matches perfectly.

DELETE and PARK listings in Sitnsell that don’t have a matching item on the seller’s market.

Use the PARK status in Sitnsell for two reasons:

  • You choose not to list the item. Mark in PARK: DO NOT LIST
  • The Sitnsell UPC doesn't match the correct ASIN, gender, color, size, width, picture, or any other important detail of your product on the Seller's Market.

NOTE: Items marked with "Missing ASIN" or "Approval Required" should be deleted with an appropriate notation. Each month all in "Deleted" status with inventory will pe re-publised to ensure the seller's market status did not changed. All Park items will be automatically skipped by the system from this operation.

What is the PARK Listing Status?

This feature lets you completely remove active listings from the seller's market.

This usually happens when a listing has:

  • Customer complaints.
  • Absence of a corresponding ASIN.
  • Mismatch with actual product color, size, width, or details.
  • Inaccurate or incomplete product information, images, or category.
  • Misuse of Universal Product Codes (UPCs) or European Article Numbers (EANs).

By using PARK, listings will remain isolated until a solution is found and the necessary corrections are made.

Why is PARK Listing Status Necessary?

Isolation ensures that incorrect listings do not remain active, preventing potential issues such as customer confusion, misrepresentation of products, or inaccurate transactions. It helps maintain the quality and reliability of the seller's marketplace, ensuring that customers find precisely what they are looking for.
