Correct Cost, Min, Max, or Price Listings in Bulk using Exports to Excel

Notes:

To ensure a smooth utilization of the export tools, it is imperative to possess a fundamental understanding of Excel and exhibit meticulous attention to detail for error detection within spreadsheets.

  • Kindly note that modifications are restricted solely to the following fields within the Excel spreadsheet: Cost, Min, Max, and Price. To prompt the system to update price changes, it is necessary to substitute the letter "N" with "Y" in the designated "CHANGE_CURRENT_PRICE" field.
  • Please exercise caution not to alter, append, or remove any fields, columns, or the header itself, as doing so will result in document processing complications.

Best practices:

  1. In cases where export correction processes extend beyond a single day, it is essential to update the completion percentage on the same day.
  2. To ensure comprehensive coverage, please ensure all sales markets are included in the spreadsheet.
  3. Provide a complete inventory, including items both with and without quantities.
  4. When applying filters, please ensure that all cells in the spreadsheet are selected to guarantee accurate results.
  5. For sorting purposes, select the entire spreadsheet and utilize custom sorting options for precise arrangement.
  6. Before uploading the document, it is crucial to delete any adjacent columns or rows that were used to generate temporary extra data. Failure to do so may result in processing errors.
  7. In the event that the spreadsheet contains a substantial amount of data:
  • Identify data with significant inventory and make necessary adjustments (replace "N" with "Y" in the "CHANGE_CURRENT_PRICE" field).
  • Identify data with notable disparities between the cost and price and rectify accordingly (replace "N" with "Y" in the "CHANGE_CURRENT_PRICE" field).
  1. To ensure a smooth verification process, it is recommended not to wait until completing the entire spreadsheet. Upload and download the document as needed.
  2. To verify price history, you can utilize websites such as Keepa (https://keepa.com/) and Camel, Camel, Camel (https://camelcamelcamel.com/). Consider adding their browser extensions for convenient access.

Helping filters:

1. Filter the WAREHOUSE_INVENTORY where the inventory is 0 and change the color to the resulting fields to a lighter gray. These fields may help you to establish some history:

Remove the filter by clicking 1. WAREHOUSE_INVENTORY and click 2. Select All::

To simplify the spreadsheet look hide the columns A, C, E, G, H, J, K, L, M, N, T, U, V

Starting from the top scroll down to the first SKU with quantity.

What to look for:

  1. Discrepancies in Cost
  2. CURRENT_PRICE looks too low:
  3. Missing MIN and MAX
  4. Extremely high Prices in the Filter menu of the CURRENT_PRICE:
  5. Extremely low cost or 0 costs in the Cost filter:
  6. Prices differences in an SKU of more than a few dollars:
  7. Correct all of the above and upload the spreadsheet. Don't forget to change the CURRENT_PRICE to Y if you have to change the price.
